Former Nigerian President Obasanjo cites farmers facing problems in accessing funding

African governments have been challenged to scale-up funding to small-holder farmers if the continent is to experience a green revolution and feed its fast rising population. Former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo raised concerns over seeing a continent that spends almost 35 billion dollars in food imports instead of the continent being a bread basket for the world.
