Freshly minted East Africa Secondary School games football champions Barding Boys arrived back to their school to a heroic welcome from fellow students, teachers as well as neighbors following their outstanding performance. Barding who were debutants in the regional secondary school games thrashed St  Marys Chitende of Uganda in the finals. Siaya County was edged out in the national secondary school games finals by Laiser Hill academy to settle for the second place. The school attributes its surprise success to hard work and dedication.
