There was drama at Mau in Meru County when a burial was disrupted by two young men claiming they had relationships with the deceased. Doris  Karimi died at twenty four years old. She is said to have been tortured and killed in Jordan. Each of the men claimed to have promised to marry her upon her return home. It took the intervention of the police to restore order after the men resorted to exchanging blows. The body of the deceased was finally laid to rest as police stood guard and kept the men at bay while the family and relatives paid their last respects.
