A proposal by the select committee on IEBC to introduce an amendment to stop party hopping may face stiff resistance from lawmakers. The draft bill which is yet to be tabled in both the national assembly and senate requires all political parties to submit lists of all their aspirants’ 14-days before nominations and bar them from seeking alternative party tickets if defeated. The report of the select committee together with the draft bills will be tabled in parliament tomorrow afternoon. Patrick Amimo has more.
