Members of parliament have trashed the proposed seven point memorandum of understanding by the Kenya bankers association and central bank of Kenya to cut lending rates by 100 basis points, stating that the M.O.U is designed to mislead the president into not signing the bill.  The MPs’ led by the bills proponent, Kiambu MP Jude Njomo urged the president to sign it into law.
