We begin with the latest from the talks on the electoral commission IEBC and multiple sources have revealed that the joint select committee might be getting closer to deal, although nothing has been finalized yet. As the Friday deadline for the joint select committee report draws nearer, the cord and jubilee sides were said to be in frantic communication with their party leaders Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta, trying to get the greenlight to pen a deal on the issues where compromises are close.
