The Kenya electricity transmission company- KETRACO has said it is fully committed to ensuring that the 428 kilometer, 400 kilovolt transmission line to connect the lake Turkana wind power project to the national grid will be completed and ready by October. The line is behind schedule due to delays that have increased the risk that come October Kenyans will start paying for power they aren’t able to consume. Philp Keitany, with more.
