"I don't need your support to win Nairobi Gubernatorial seat," Senator Sonko tells Jubilee

It’s only one day after water cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa declared his interest in succeeding Evans Kidero as Nairobi governor, and Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has vowed to give him a run for his money. Sonko says he will vie for the position with or without the support of the jubilee party.
