LSK President, addresse's the nation on reasons for peaceful demonstrations by lawyers
6th July, 2016
LSK president Isaac Okero this morning led lawyers in Kisumu to protest the killing of lawyer Willie Kimani and two his accomplices.
The lawyers have vowed not relent until justice is done over the killing of their colleague.
The peaceful demos was conducted along the streets of Kisumu city where the law society of Kenya said the killings was just an indication of how extra judicial killings have increased in the country apart from being a blow to the rule of law.
LSK says it will soldier on until the police service is restructured to make it accountable to all Kenyans.
