Jubilee MP's come out in support of William Ruto's 2022 Presidential bid

29th June, 2016

A section of political leaders affiliated to the Jubilee Alliance are castigating nominated senator Paul Njoroge over his remarks that the deputy president William Ruto may not be supported by the Mt. Kenya region in 2022. Murang’a senator Kembi Gitura, Gatundu south MP Moses Kuria, Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau and Maragua MP Kamande Mwangi said the senator does not speak on behalf of the region and that his sentiments are misplaced. The leaders were addressing mourners during the burial service of nominated MCA in Murang’a county assembly Peter Kariuki at Ichagaki in Maragua Sub County.
