Kenya to kick start its Nascent mining industry

Kenya is hoping to kick start its Nascent mining industry by conducting a heavy marketing push abroad. According to mining cabinet secretary Dan Kazungu, the ministry will in the next two months reach out to major mining companies, hubs and financial centres with a view to securing investment in the sector and thus grow the industry from the current 1% of GDP.
