Uhuru and Ruto hold talks with North Eastern Leaders

President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked leaders from northern Kenya to forget the ‘Wagalla massacre’ which represents the worst human rights violation in Kenya’s history and instead focus on how the region could be developed to catch up with the rest of the country. The president also told the leaders the government will not backtrack on its resolve to repatriate the Somali refugees citing national security concerns.
