Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Phyllis Kandie, and her sports and culture counterpart, Hassan Wario, have expressed optimism that the ongoing Smithsonian folklife festival in Washington dc will help market Kenya as a tourism and investment destination. Their optimism has been triggered by the many visitors who have toured the Kenyan stands to sample a variety of traditional cuisine and Kenyan music.
