Kenya County Government Wokers Union presents a list of demands to Nyeri Governor

The Kenya county government workers union sought a meeting this morning with the nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua to deliberate on issues affecting the workers in the region. The union presented a list of 17 complaints against the Nyeri county government such as salary arrears for staff on leave, wrongful retirement, hours for revenue collectors, unpaid salaries for reinstated workers amongst other issues. Roba Duba the secretary general of the union said the union has already held several such meetings with governors in other counties and they are asking the governors to know that they are responsible for the workers under them.
