Guns recovered by police belonged to officers massacred by bandits in Baragoi

Police say they have recovered 7 guns taken from the police officers who were massacred by bandits in baragoi in november 2012. The guns were recovered from bandits believed to have killed the 42 officers in baragoi’s suguta valley. The heavily-armed bandits had ambushed kambi nyoka but were met by a combined force of kenya defense forces,general service unit,administration police,anti stock theft unit,and regular police.
the forces overpowered the bandits and recovered three g3 rifles with 207 ammunitions,one fn rifle,and three ak47 rifles with 56 rounds of ammunition. Three bandists have been arrested and will be arraigned in court. Samburu county commissioner wilfred nyagwanga said that the bandits had come from lomirok and marti villages.
