His big break came when he got admitted to the Starehe high school after completing his primary education at Olympic primary school. He says growing up in a family of six with a single parent in Kibera’s informal settlement was not easy and sometimes they had to go to bed without having any supper. But he founded the children of Kibera foundation where he helps orphans and the underprivileged children to access education.
