Murang'a's Kabati accident Accident

Two people have died and six others seriously injured in a road accident at Kabati along the Thika Nyeri Highway… The driver of the driver of matatu that was ferrying passengers from Thika to Kenol is said to have lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road rolling several times. Eyewitnesses say one person; a female died on the spot while the second died at the Thika Hospital. According to survivors who were rushed to several hospitals in Thika and Muranga the driver was speeding when the accident occurred. this accident occurred even with heightened measures by police to curb road carnage including the deployment of speed cameras..
