Ezekiel Barng’etuny gets fitting farewell from Nandi

The body of Ezekiel Barngetuny, a former member of parliament and close ally to retired president Daniel Moi arrived in Eldoret town this morning and was taken for a requiem mass and public viewing of the body in kapsabet’s kipchoge keino stadium.the body was flown to Eldoret this morning from Nairobi and was received by various leaders from the rift valley.Barng’etuny, who died on December 20 in Nairobi at the age of 92 will be buried tomorrow at his Lelkot farm, in Nandi county. Friends, family and leaders from all walks of life thronged AIC Milimani church in Nairobi yesterday for the late Ezekiel Barng’etuny requiem mass. The leaders eulogized the fallen politician as a nationalist who embraced nationality.
