According to the water organisation, water.org, 84 per cent of children who die each year are lost to water-related diseases. Kisumu is among areas affected, with many children forced to miss school due to diarrhoeal infections and incessant collapsed latrines. KTN's Esther Akello caught up with a local organisation that is now using unique toilets to keep children in school while helping farming projects.
