Barclays bank Kenya has launched a new mobile money transfer services targeting its clients in the diaspora. Platform dubbed Barclays “ping it” allows customers in the UK to transfer money through their phone direct a Kenyan account holder. The service comes as several financial institutions position themselves to tap into remittance flow into the country.
