Karume "son" loses parternity case

29th February, 2012

The high court Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by a high school teacher who claims to be a biological son to the late Njenga Karume. Edwin Thuo Monday moved to court seeking to suspend Karume's burial slated for Saturday until he obtains DNA tests to prove his claims. He however dropped this petition allowing the late Karume to be buried, but he has now filed a fresh application, this time seeking to substitute the late Karume with his widow Grace Njoki in two other pending court cases. KTN's Asha Mwilu with the details.
