"I was forced to become a street urchin after my father disappeared from home," Pastor Roy Allan

Roy Allan now a pastor claims that his father disappeared from their home in Korogocho slum when he was four years. The mother was a housewife and so this left the family in desperation. He and other siblings did not have otherwise but to drop out of school and become street urchins. This is where he was introduced to drugs, bullying and other ills associated with street urchins. However, he was not pleased with the lifestyle of being a chokoraa and so he sought help from a local pastor on how to turn his life around
