World marathon record holder, Eliud Kipchoge, was awarded the best male athlete of the Tokyo Olympics during the association of national Olympic committee awards gala, that was held in the course of the annual general assembly on Sunday in Greece. Kipchoge was rewarded after successfully defending his Olympic marathon title in Sapporo. He was among various international athletes recognized for their efforts in the global showpiece.
