Kalembe Ndile says he wanted to be a priest, recounts how Ruto duped him in 2017 | POLITICAL POINT

11th March, 2021

A FILM BY JAPHETH MAKAU. Kenya #39;s political space has had personalities and characters who made a name from nowhere. One such character is Kalembe Ndile, former Kibwezi Member of Parliament. In Kibaki's government, Kalembe was a household name owing to his hard stand that agitated for settlement of landless squatters neglected by successive regimes. His absence from national politics since 2013 has left many with unanswered questions. Kalembe Ndile takes us through his political life and why DP Ruto duped him in 2017. Produced by Fredrick Ooko, Dennis Kahohi, and Valentine Lihanda
