Plight of a woman caring for her aged and mentally sick mother in-law who is clocking 100 years

1st January, 2021

Lydiah Wanjiru has been taking care of her mother-in-law at her home ever since she started experiencing mental instabilities. Unlike many other women who don’t get along with their mothers in law, Lydia is very proud and close to her aged and elderly mother-in-law. Clocking almost 100 years, Lydia’s mother-in-law has many health complications including being unable to go to short or long call on her own or even move around. Lydiah has to support her in all these and many more personal issues. She says she is reciprocating the goodwill of her mother-in-law during her heydays.
