18th January, 2022

To a disturbing story from Yala, Siaya county where residents living near the river are perturbed following numerous cases of unidentified floating human remains fished from the river Yala. Rights groups say 21 bodies have been retrieved from the river in the last one month alone sending fears of killers on the loose. The police have also admitted that fingerprint identification of the bodies is near impossible because fingerprints are taken return invalid results.
