BBI supreme hearing: Uhuru -Raila final fight back to revive BBI

President Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga today commenced the final fightback to attempt to revive the quest to amend the constitution through The building bridges initiative at the supreme court. Three separate appeals seeking to overturn the court of appeal verdict that upheld a nullification of the constitutional amendment push were heard today by a seven-judge bench and as our senior political affairs reporter Murimi Mwangi reports , the battle to rescue Kenyatta from civil culpability over legal omissions emanating from the BBI process dominated the first day’s hearings as the attorney general’s team also viciously defended the president’s role of spearheading the BBI.
