Talks between teachers' union and their employer KNUT on a new CBA collapse

Talks between the teacher’s service commission and teachers' unions over the 2021 2025 collective bargaining agreement have collapsed after the teacher’s employer failed to make a monetary offer. The unions, KNUT and KUPPET are accusing TSC of insincerity in their nonmonetary offer. But the TSC CEO Nancy Macharia says the commission is committed to the well-being of teachers citing the increased maternity leave days from 90 to 120.
