Business came to a standstill in Moi's Bridge area, Uasin Gishu county after residents found a body of a 13-year-old girl who had been kidnapped and murdered by unknown people. Police had to fire tear gas canisters to disperse the angry mob who were protesting the kidnap and killing of Linda Jerono. The protestors had blocked roads to protest increased killings in the area. Police are pursuing a suspect who was captured in CCTV footage being followed by the deceased.
