Wajir county has a new governor Ahmed Ali Muktar who until this morning was deputy governor was sworn into office following the impeachment of governor Mohamed Abdi Mohmoud by the senate last night. Ali Muktar was sworn in at an event in Wajir despite a Meru court issuing orders stopping the planned swearing-in ceremony. And as Ahmed Hussein reports, the new governor pledged to work with all Wajir leaders.
