The Kenya power and lighting company has partnered with community-based organizations in Mathare, Mukuru, and Kibera in a bid to curb electricity theft and enhance service delivery, and will also open three offices in each of the three communities. Speaking at the launch of the Kenya power offices in Mathare, the electricity provider managing director and Ceo Bernard Ngugi said the partnerships with the community-based organizations will act as the company’s ambassadors and report issues to teams based in the new offices.
