Jubilee party declares war on Ruto, slaps UDA with divorce papers

20th April, 2021

The jubilee party has now moved to start political divorce with the united democratic alliance party, UDA currently associated with deputy president William Ruto. The ruling party says it has instituted measures that will lead to the provisional coalition agreement with UDA being revoked. According to jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju, the party is uncomfortable with the name “hustlers” and that uda’s trend of fielding candidates against jubilee has rubbed it the wrong way. Mark Namaswa reports on a divorce that has been forthcoming.
