Rice farmers decry Apple Snails allegedly introduced to Mwea-Tebere Irrigation Scheme by JKUAT

Uncertainty in Mwea Tebere Irrigation Scheme, Kirinyaga county after Apple Snails invaded the rice crop.

The snails have so far colonized a huge area of the scheme leaving the farmers counting losses.
