Three people were brutally murdered and their bodies set on fire at Mzee Wa Nyama area in Nakuru County.

Some of the partly burnt bodies that had stab wounds were retrieved from the burning house by police and firefighters who responded to distress calls from neighbours.

County Deputy Police Commander Joseph Tanui said the three who moved to the area recently were a high school teacher, her son and a house help.
