Nyeri County Referral hospital ICU ward opens to admit patients after it had remained shut for over two months.

This is after The Standard highlighted public outcry over the high cost of admissions to Private and mission hospitals in the county.

The facility was closed after the machines broke down and there were no spare parts to repair them. The facility has the capacity to cater for six ICU patients at a time.
