Meet teacher Alex Mungai, a first-year Math student at the University of Nairobi who is a volunteer teacher at his former primary school. Currently, he takes his studies online as per the university stipulations precipitated by the covid-19 pandemic. He claims that most of the time, he is free and so he prefers using this time to teach at his former primary school and take up his online studies on a part-time basis. Some people have discouraged him against working for free and instead find gainful work but his desire to give back to the society triumphs these discouragements.
