Church under scrutiny for compelling mandatory HIV test before wedding( Part 1)

Kenyans were last weekend shocked by news that a clergy man in Nakuru had refused to wed a couple for allegedly not complying with the church requirement to submit a medical report before the ceremony could take place. Joyce Waithera and Paul Waithaka were left counting losses after their wedding was cancelled at the last minute.  The couple had already undergone two medical tests but the move by the officiating minister to demand another test from a specific clinic did not sit down well with them. This is our focus on news center this morning as we seek to establish the legality of pre?marital medical tests.
