Laikipia governor Ndiritu Muriithi has decried delayed investigation on corruption cases his administration presented to the director of criminal investigation and ethics and anti?corruption commission. The governor said he was disappointed that after presenting seven corruption related cases to the two bodies, the issues had not been addressed. He said the cases are involving public officers, contractors who have been found allegedly engaging in irregular dealings. The governor was speaking after national anti?corruption steering committee installing Laikipia county anti?corruption civilian committees (caccocs) that will be undertaking sensitization programs on fighting graft.
