IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has suspended the commission's chief executive officer Ezra Chiloba for three months pending investigations into procurement irregularities linked to the 2017 elections. And as our political affairs reporter Murimi Mwangi now tells us, Chiloba’s suspension comes only weeks after IEBC was put on the spot by the auditor general to account for 5.4 billion allocated four years ago.
