KCB win 2017/18 Kenya Cup league title: Sports Chat

26th March, 2018

Kenya commercial bank assistant coach Dennis Mwanja has praised Kabras sugar for pushing them to the wall in the Kenya cup final at KCB sports club on Saturday. KCB won the 2017/2018 Kenya cup league title unbeaten, a feat Mwanja attributed to pre?season training. The resilient Kabras took the game to the bankers but fell short, losing 29?24. This was the third final victory for the bankers against Kabras since the latter were promoted to the Kenya cup league in 2014. The victory came barely a month after KCB beat Kabras 41?12 in the regular season. However, unlike the 2017 and 2015 finals where the bankers dominated possession and tore the millers apart, last weekend was a different story as they had to dig deep for the win. Tries from Brian Nyikuli, Peter Kilonzo, Jacob Ojee and Martin Owila ensured the back?to?back champions end the season unbeaten after 13 games
