The European Union says Kenya’s last year elections in august and October were marred by massive irregularities. Debating the political crisis following the 2017 controversial general election, the EU parliament further  noted that key institutions were intimidated and compromised before the polls. They now want president Uhuru Kenyatta to move with speed and restore peace before the country degenerates into civil war. .
