Devna Vadgama,the Director of the Eat Out expounds on the Annual Nairobi restaurant week (28th January – 7th February), currently in its 3rd Year is a celebration of the dinning culture in Kenya, the aim is to get people get out to eat so as to promote the restaurants and for people to try out new cuisines not just Nyama Choma on a daily. It’s also for restaurants to see what other restaurants offer, the different imported cuisines that hotels and restaurants get to offer. It’s a chance for Kenyans to dine and experience the luxury of a three course meal for as little as Ksh. 1,500 in over 60 establishments courtesy of the Eat Out. It’s just in Nairobi but there is an aim of moving it to the whole of East Africa, there is also a Pizza Week coming soon.
