KNUT wants the 2021-2025 collective bargaining agreement renegotiated to include monetary component

The Kenya National Union of Teachers now wants the 2021 2025 collective bargaining agreement, renegotiated to include a monetary component in the deal. And in what appears to signal good days ahead for teachers, KNUT Secretary General Collins Oyuu, says the union will be tabling a salary review proposal with a 60% increment before the Teachers Service Commission to kick start the talks.
