As war tensions continue to rise in the Middle East, the effects are increasingly being felt across the globe including in Kenya. President William Ruto has condemned the escalating conflict, urging the countries involved to prioritise dialogue and negotiations over further confrontation.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Ambassador to Kenya, Dr Ali Gholampour, says Iran was provoked and maintains that its actions are a lawful form of self-defence under international law. The envoy also hinted at growing strain in diplomatic relations between Iran and the Kenyan government.
