Residents of Eastleigh have taken to the streets, demanding the reinstatement of police officer Ahmed Rashid known for his unorthodox fight against crime in Eastleigh and surrounding areas. This is at the back of Rashids legal team filing a petition in the high court seeking to overturn the director of public prosecution’s decision. DPP Noordin Haji had recommended that the officer be charged with murder.
