Members of the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) with more than one wife will get medical coverage for their multiple spouses should the proposed 2022 regulation by the National Health Insurance Fund be approved by parliament. NHIF says the male member will pay an extra 500 shillings for the additional wives, a departure from the current regulation that only covers one spouse and a maximum of five children.
