A section of leaders allied to Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance have hit out at Deputy President William Ruto accusing him of failing to perform his roles as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s principal assistant. In a meeting that brought together leaders from Kiambu county and larger Mt Kenya region, the leaders claimed DP Ruto was unsuitable to succeed President Kenyatta when his term ends in august. Azimio flag bearer Raila Odinga has launched county committees that will be responding to the secretaries as they seek to popularize his candidature in the region.
