Justice Said Juma Chitembwe has moved to the High Court to stop the Judicial Service Commission from hearing petitions seeking his removal as a judge over alleged gross misconduct.

Four petitions have so far been filed before the Judicial Service Commission urging it to investigate Justice Chitembwe after viral videos that were posted on social media raised integrity questions.
