Kenya’s top Detective George Kinoti continues to walk a free man, weeks after the court ordered that he be jailed for four months for contempt. In blatant disregard of the court pronouncement, the DCI boss was today in parliament in response to a summon by MPs on a totally different matter. Is it just another case of raw impunity or have the courts lost their bite?
