At least 2 million people are in dire need of assistance following an ongoing drought in the arid and semi-arid counties. According to the national drought management authority, 12 counties are in the alert drought phase, while eleven counties are in the normal drought phase. And as Brenda Kerubo reports the situation could get worse if the country experiences poor rainfall towards the end of this year.
